BGPPlay

This has been a favorite troubleshooting and information tool of mine since its inception as a Java App. Now re-written by the RIPE NCC….BGPlay! ripestat.init(“bgplay”,{“unix_timestamps”:“TRUE”,“ignoreReannouncements”:“true”,“rrcs”:“0,1,6,7,11,14,3,4,5,10,12,13,15”,“resource”:“141.142.0.0/16”,“starttime”:“1410023700”,“endtime”:“1410207300”,“instant”:“null”,“type”:“bgp”},null,{“show_controls”:“yes”,“disable”:[]})

Building a logical networking inside one Juniper MX

1 Jan, 0001 - 1 minutes
Logical systems are something that JunOS has done very, very right. Regardless of if you need to create segregated administrative domains, routing domains or just labbing something up, this is a fantastic tool in the Juniper toolbox. If you’re lucky enough to have an MX series available for testing, you’re already half way there.

Don't fear the reaper

1 Jan, 0001 - 4 minutes
I have been buried in stuff to work on lately. The amazing part of this is that it is all very interesting and things I want to do and learn. The exhausting part is that there is an overwhelming amount of it. It is a good problem to have. The list of things goes on and on (and obviously I don’t do all of this stuff by myself, we have an amazing team) but the short list is a pretty tall order.

ElastiFlow Base VM

1 Jan, 0001 - 1 minutes
Included here is a vanilla Ubuntu 18 LTS VM with a basic Elastiflow install. This includes all of the components of an ElasticStack plus the front end pieces of the ElastiFlow project. Most of the install is based on this how-to. Included in the image is also a base install of NGINX and certbot so that you can reverse proxy the access and have a valid SSL certificate. This was build and validated on Proxmox 6.
